Using a thermostatic radiator valve
The setting indicates a target room temperature rather than a flow rate.
Consistent comfort
A thermostatic head regulates water flow to the radiator according to room temperature. A higher setting does not necessarily heat the room more quickly.
Keep the head unobstructed
Curtains, furniture and covers can affect temperature sensing. Monitor the room with a separate thermometer and consult your model’s manual for the temperature associated with each setting.
Models differ
The same setting may correspond to different temperature ranges on different heads. In central systems, observe building rules and applicable minimum-temperature requirements.
Regulations and implementation conditions can change; use the current text for the relevant period.
