The basic calculation for central heating
In central heating, 30% of the heating cost is allocated according to enclosed floor area and 70% according to measured consumption. This explanation concerns central heating; other system types must be assessed separately.
What should the statement contain?
The period, total building cost, apartment area, total area, meter consumption and unit calculations should be verifiable. Space heating and domestic hot water should be treated as separate cost items.
