How to read a meter
Record the period difference using the right unit and dates.
Find the correct display
Find the cumulative energy reading on the heat meter. Do not confuse temperature, instantaneous flow or volume displays with the energy reading. Display sequences vary by model.
An example
If the opening reading is 12,450 kWh and the closing reading is 13,250 kWh, period consumption is 800 kWh. Check that both dates belong to the same allocation period and both readings come from the same device.
When data is missing
Send management a photo of the display, the serial number and the error code. Record the old meter’s final reading and the new meter’s initial reading separately.
