Wired M-Bus
Meters communicate with a collector over a wired connection. Assess meter protocols, cabling and collector capacity together.
Wireless RF
Compatible devices can be read by radio. RF support does not guarantee compatibility with every receiver; check frequency, protocol and access keys.
Genuine remote access
Collecting readings during a site visit with a handheld reader is different from transmitting data through a fixed collector. The offer should specify modem connectivity, communication continuity and responsibilities for data access.
