My gas was shut off because of a leak. What should I do?+

If you can smell gas, call 187 from a safe place. After the initial emergency response, contact Ural Mühendislik for repairs to the installation defects recorded in the İGDAŞ notice.

We provide this service in Pendik, Kartal and Maltepe. Our office is at Çavuşoğlu Mahallesi, Spor Caddesi No:14, Kartal, Istanbul.

Will my gas be restored immediately after the repair?+

Restoring supply is subject to İGDAŞ inspection and approval. Timing depends on the work, required procedures and inspection outcome; a fixed restoration time is not promised.

Information on Tiered Natural Gas Pricing and Heat Cost Allocation

Following BOTAŞ’s announcement dated 3 April 2026, within the framework of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) and BOTAŞ regulations, tiered pricing for residential consumers took effect on 4 April 2026.

Under this scheme, the government subsidy varies by consumption tier, increasing the price paid per cubic metre. Depending on the region and consumption level, the difference in unit costs between Tier 1 and Tier 2 ranges from 60% to 80%.

Although total natural gas bills issued to buildings have increased, no changes have been made to the Regulation on the Allocation of Heating and Domestic Hot Water Costs in Central Heating and Hot Water Systems. Accordingly, costs continue to be calculated and allocated using individual unit meter readings and the building’s current natural gas invoice amount.
